Ritual Ware is a nine piece porcelain tableware service that is crafted to heighten appreciation for the act of eating. The dishware’s subtle differences in form, contrasting surface textures and imperfections are sensory invitations meant for you to engage with. Slowing down and spending time with your food creates rituals in your interactions that increase fulfillment and enjoyment for your meals. Ritual Ware aims to guide your intuition for the appreciation and connection to the moments spent during the act of eating.
Made in Canada
The Exhibition was designed as a forum where visitors examine the process of design through hands on activities and challenges while highlighting Canadian Innovation.
The Made in Canada Exhibition showcased the importance of creativity and failure in the design process, a iterative process of design that leads to innovation and success. This was done through 23 interactive experiences. The Exhibits challenged visitors to create, build, test, and discover areas of improvement through a number of challenges like the airplane challenge, creating the fastest bobsled, creating your own eau de Canada or sound mash up to share with your friends. Also showcasing Canadian Invensions like penicillin, the egg cartoon and the wonder bra.
The exhibit design was made from boxes and natural materials creating a prototyped drafted feeling supported by exhibit graphics that used bold colours of the Canada 150 identity, maple leafs shapes and blue prints and draft sketches.
