The Eastwood
Ritual Ware is a nine piece porcelain tableware service that is crafted to heighten appreciation for the act of eating. The dishware’s subtle differences in form, contrasting surface textures and imperfections are sensory invitations meant for you to engage with. Slowing down and spending time with your food creates rituals in your interactions that increase fulfillment and enjoyment for your meals. Ritual Ware aims to guide your intuition for the appreciation and connection to the moments spent during the act of eating.
The Eastwood
A neighbourhood spot where residents of the Fraserhood can come relax, unwind and watch the game with casual fare and drinks.
Working with owners Alex Kyriazis and Ari Demosten, my role was to help bring their vision to life in the creation of the Restaurant bar, the Eastwood. Their vision was to create a neighbourhood bar with a laid back atmosphere, comfortable and social with a large communal dinning space.
The interior is outfitted with blackened steel, warm lighting and cool custom fixtures with large bar top which extends the length of the restaurant.
