Oblique is a modern inspired light that is a simply intriguing object with its basic shapes and minimal design.

This project was developed as a collaboration between Emily Carr University Art + Design and BoConcept. The design challenge was to create a functional prototype of wood-based lamps specifically for the BoConcept market.

Inspired by a strong tradition of Danish design, our goal was to create a lamp that isn't just a light, but an expression of beauty, so that the end results isn't just an object but a set of embodied values and aesthetic considerations.

This floor lamp flexible as both ambient and task lights offers a dynamic solution that is both truthful and unique.
